A Riverside Village In Kent

Greenhithe has been occupied since before the Romans settled in Britain. The name Greenhithe (or Green Hythe) means "Green Landing Place".

Greenhithe is in the district of Dartford and part of the Parish of Swanscombe & Greenhthe. It is rapidly growing due to an abundance of new housing which is springing up on previously industrial land.
